The firm also indicated that it reviewed whether Campbell violated FINRA rules. Therefore, it is possible that Campbell engaged in unsupervised or unapproved conversations with investors or misrepresented information.
Lawsuit Filed Concerning Campbell’s Allegedly False Representations About Investments
Also, Bob Boustead disclosed on his FINRA BrokerCheck report that a client disputed his sales practices. Apparently, the client brought a civil suit in December 2018 about private placements. Allegedly, Campbell falsely represented information about a securities issuer’s finances and functions. It appears that Campbell may have caused a client to make investment decisions based on these false statements. However, Campbell denies this client’s allegations in the ongoing matter.
