Bryan Andrew Carnahan (CRD #3103811, Gahanna, Ohio)

was barred by FINRA for allegedly converting approximately $169,500 in client funds causing the fund transfers to be made from the client’s brokerage account to her bank account.

FINRA’s findings stated that once the funds were in the client’s bank account, Carnahan instructed the client to withdraw the funds and obtain cashier’s checks for supposed investment opportunities. After Carnahan took possession of the checks, he fraudulently caused them to be re-issued in the form of multiple cashier’s checks that were payable to his own accounts and to the accounts of some of his other clients who had investment losses.
