Apparently, on March 1, 2018, a GF Investment Services client brought FINRA Arbitration Claim #: 18-00798 to dispute Grant Conness. Mainly, the client contended that Conness failed to comply with his fiduciary responsibility. Allegedly, the securities broker also acted negligently through his recommendations of alternative investments. Supposedly, Grant sold a real estate security which did not comport with the client’s plans, risk tolerance or other criteria relating to investor suitability. Grant Conness Allegedly Sells Unregistered Security To GF Investment Services Client
Evidently, a third client of GF Investment Services brought a complaint dated May 16, 2018 to contest Grant Conness’ advice. It appears that Conness possibly recommended unregistered securities which had caused the client to incur losses. As a result, the client asked for more than $100,000 in compensation from GF Investment Services or Conness to resolve the matter.
GF Investment Services Client Indicates That Conness Sold Inappropriate Annuity, REIT
Apparently, a fourth client of GF Investment Services contested Grant Conness via a complaint dated December 7, 2016. Allegedly, Conness sold an unsuitable annuity and REIT to the client. It is possible that the investments Conness sold may have been inappropriate because of a lack of liquidity. Consequently, the client demanded compensation from GF Investment Services or Conness. However, this matter closed on April 21, 2017 without a resolution.
