Specifically, on October 21, 2002, a Ryan Beck Co. client filed a complaint about Arthur DeFilippo. Supposedly, DeFilippo failed to follow instructions regarding orders the client had provided. Consequently, the client requested $100,000 in compensation from Ryan Beck Co. or DeFilippo. The brokerage firm denied this matter on January 7, 2003.
