March 18, 2019 Complaint Involving Cindy Chiellini, Unauthorized Trades


A customer of Centaurus Financial, Inc. filed a $90,000 complaint in reference to Cindy Chiellini’s sales practices. Primarily, the customer indicated in her March 18, 2019 claim that Chiellini made unauthorized trades of corporate debt investments in the customer’s brokerage account. Supposedly, Chiellini engaged in other sales practice violations which she did not specify. While the customer’s allegations of Chiellini’s unauthorized trading may be true, she denies the allegations in this ongoing matter.

February 19, 2019 Complaint Re: Cindy Chiellini, Bad Investment Recommendations


Previously, from 2010 to 2015, Cindy Chiellini worked at J.P. Turner & Company, L.L.C. While there, Chiellini serviced the account of a customer who later complained about her. According to the customer’s February 19, 2019 complaint, Chiellini made recommendations of unsuitable investments. Supposedly, between 2013 and 2019, Chiellini put the customer’s assets in CDs, corporate debt investments, and stocks. Those investments were allegedly unfitting considering the customer’s investment objectives, goals and financial circumstances. However, Chiellini claimed that the customer’s investments were suitable. This matter is still underway.

January 2, 2019 Arbitration Concerning Cindy Chiellini’s Corporate Debt Sales


In addition, on January 2, 2019, a customer of both J.P. Turner & Company, L.L.C. and Centaurus Financial, Inc. filed FINRA Arbitration #18-04363. Mainly, the customer claimed that Cindy Chiellini gave the customer bad investment advice. Allegedly, Chiellini urged the customer to buy and hold corporate debt investments between 2014 to 2018. Because of this, the customer experienced losses and sued to recover. Accordingly, the customer alleged $500,000 in damages in this ongoing matter.

August 16, 2018 Arbitration Alleging Cindy Chiellini’s Bad Real Estate Security Investments


A Centaurus Financial, Inc. and J.P. Tuner & Company, L.L.C. customer contested Cindy Chiellini’s sales practices in filing FINRA Arbitration #18-02791. Allegedly, Chiellini sold investments, including real estate security and corporate debt investments, which were not suitable for the investors. Supposedly, the customers requested liquid investments; however, investments in their accounts did not match those liquidity needs. Because of this, the customers experienced losses when selling the products. For this reason, the customers are seeking $175,000 in this pending Arbitration.
