Customers Bring Unsuitability Allegations Against FMSBonds’ Zachary Evan Feinsilver

Zachary Evan Feinsilver (CRD#: 5023830, North Miami Beach, Florida) is a general securities representative of FMSBonds, Inc. He joined the firm on December 9, 2005. Critically, the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority BrokerCheck Report for Zachary Feinsilver shows that at least four customers disputed his sales practices. Take a look at the following unsuitability allegations against him:

February 12, 2018 Complaint

On February 12, 2018, a customer of FMSbonds, Inc. brought a dispute about Zachary Feinsilver. Namely, the customer alleged that Zachary Feinsilver made misrepresentations about municipal bonds. Apparently, Zachary Feinsilver failed to correctly represent the aspects of those investments, which led the customer to purchase bonds that did not make sense for the customer. Given the allegations of unsuitability and misrepresentation, the customer demanded $75,000.00 in compensation. Apparently, the customer has not pursued this matter further.

January 24, 2018 Complaint

A FMSbonds, Inc. customer contested Zachary Feinsilver’s sales practices in filing a January 24, 2018 Complaint. Allegedly, Zachary Feinsilver improperly recommended that the customer purchase bonds which have since declined in value. Supposedly, Zachary Feinsilver should not have advised the customer about buying those bond investments. As a result, the customer alleged $190,000.00 in damages. However, matter closed on December 19, 2018.

December 7, 2017 Arbitration

On December 7, 2017, a customer of FMSbonds, Inc. complained about Zachary Feinsilver’s recommendations. Specifically, the customer filed FINRA Arbitration #17-03209 on December 7, 2017. Allegedly, Zachary Feinsilver put the customer in unsuitable Puerto Rico municipal bonds. Apparently, the customer was put in investments which did not reflect the customer’s investment objectives or risk tolerance. Because of this, FMSBonds, Inc. opted to settle the customer’s claim for $50,000.00 on May 7, 2018.

February 8, 2011 Complaint

An FMSBonds, Inc. customer filed a complaint about Zachary Feinsilver on February 8, 2011. Specifically, this customer claimed that Zachary Feinsilver gave false or faulty recommendations about municipal debt securities. By following his advice, the customer allegedly suffered losses upon liquidating the securities. Also, Zachary Feinsilver allegedly recommended that the customer not purchase investments that the customer felt were more suitable. While the customer’s claims may be true, the matter closed without resolution.
