FINRA Sanctions David Simmons

Family Broker Fraud

Soreide Law Group is looking into possible investor claims against securities broker David Shane Simmons (CRD: 4655479, Jefferson, North Carolina). Particularly, FINRA sanctioned the securities broker, who worked for Lincoln Financial Advisors Corporation. Allegedly, Simmons failed to cooperate with FINRA when the regulator investigated him for potentially violating FINRA rules. Here is a brief summary of FINRA’s allegations against Simmons.

FINRA Sanctions David Simmons For Failure To Testify

Evidently, on March 15, 2023, FINRA issued Case: 2021072670901, sanctioning David Simmons for infractions. Specifically, Simmons was barred. Notably, this means that he cannot associate with FINRA-member entities as a securities broker or in other capacities. Particularly, FINRA alleged that Simmons did not provide documents and information or testify when the regulator investigated him for potentially violating FINRA rules.

Supposedly, the investigation related to a Form U5 submission by Lincoln Financial Advisors Corporation. The firm disclosed that it discharged him when he failed to cooperate with the firm’s investigation into his potential misconduct.
