Soreide Law Group, based in Florida, has been contacted by investors who have experienced DST losses due to the alleged recommendations broker, EHUD GERSTEN (Ehud NA Gersten, Gersten Ehud), currently registered as a broker with CONCORDE INVESTMENT SERVICES, LLC of Ann Arbor, Michigan since 8/19/2025. One of the firms Gersten was previously registered with was EMERSON EQUITY of West Palm Beach, Florida, from 03/01/2021 - 07/21/2023, when some of the investors had allegedly purchased DST’s and experienced losses.
Many investors were sold Delaware Statutory Trusts (DSTs) as “safe” passive real estate investments or as part of a 1031 exchange strategy. Thousands of investors are now facing suspended distributions, collapsing property values, and complete illiquidity, leading to significant Delaware Statutory Trust losses for many. A Delaware Statutory Trust is a legal structure used to hold commercial real estate. Investors purchase “beneficial interests” in the trust, which owns properties. DSTs are private securities, not publicly traded, and carry significant hidden risks. Some of the DSTs brought to our attention by the former clients of EHUD GERSTEN are the Versity DSTs including the Versity Flats at Shadowglen DST, and Versity Astoria DST.
According to FINRA’s BrokerCheck, available to the public on FINRA’s website, EHUD GERSTEN has been in the securities industry for 6 years and has been listed with 12 firms. Gersten has 4 disclosures on his FINRA CRD report, all 4 are pending “Customer Disputes.” Three were filed in 2025, and the allegations listed are, Misleading Recommendations, Violation of Reg BI, Misrepresentation and omissions, Breach of Fiduciary Duty and Negligence.
There is a pending “Customer Dispute” filed against EHUD GERSTEN dated 2/2/2026. The allegations are, “Client is alleging breach of fiduciary duty, negligence, and unsuitability.” The damage amount requested is $2,000,000.00.
