Soreide Law Group is investigating Fariba Zehtabian Madison (Fariba Zehtabian) a broker/financial advisor currently listed with WESTERN INTERNATIONAL SECURITIES, INC. of Los Alamitos, California since 2012.
It was brought to our attention that Fariba Zehtabian Madison had allegedly sold GWG bonds to clients. GWG filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in April, 2022. GWG Bonds carry significant risks to investors. They are definitely not suitable for all investors, particularly retirees or those investors with moderate to conservative portfolios. GWG Holdings stated in their prospectus that: "Investing in our L Bonds may be considered speculative and involves a high degree of risk, including the risk of losing your entire investment." According to FINRA’s BrokerCheck, available to the public on FINRA’s website, Fariba Zehtabian Madison, has been in the securities industry for 35 years and has been listed with 9 firms. Zehtabian Madison is registered both as a broker and as an investment advisor. There are five disclosures listed on the FINRA CRD report. All five disclosures are “Customer Disputes.” Four disputes were filed in 2022, and are still pending. Some of the allegations listed in the four pending disputes are: unsuitability, negligence, and unjust enrichment.
