Three arbitrations have been filed by Soreide Law Group on behalf of seven clients, against Jason Figueroa of the GMS Group. These clients live in Pennsylvania, Aventura, Florida, and Delray Beach, Florida. Mr. Figueroa works out of the Boca Raton, Florida office of the GMS Group. The lawsuits, all filed with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority “FINRA,” allege negligence, negligent supervision, breach of fiduciary duties, fraud and violation of the Florida Investor Protection Act under Florida Statute 517.
Many of the investors, all represented by Lars Soreide, were sold large concentrations in leveraged gold investments. These were in investments that crashed such as, NUGT, GDX and GDXJ, among other high risk and leveraged positions.
