Investment Loss

On October 1, 2021, the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) barred JEFFREY DAMPF (CRD#: 5676205), a broker formerly with PFS INVESTMENTS INC. OF TOTOWA, NEW JERSEY.  According to FINRA’s BrokerCheck, Dampf was listed with PFS INVESTMENTS INC. from October 21, 2009 until September 21, 2021.
Without admitting or denying FINRA’s findings, JEFFREY DAMPF consented to the sanction and to the entry of FINRA’s findings that he allegedly refused to provide on-the-record testimony or to produce the documents and information requested by FINRA in connection with its investigation into allegations that he misappropriated funds from elderly individuals.
According to FINRA’s BrokerCheck, available to the public on FINRA’s website, JEFFREY DAMPF had been in the securities industry for 11 years and listed with only one firm, PFS INVESTMENTS INC. OF TOTOWA, NEW JERSEY.
Dampf has two disclosures on his FINRA CRD report.  One is the regulatory barring him in all capacities from the industry, and the other is an, “Employment Separation After Allegations.” On September 17, 2021, PFS INVESTMENTS INC. permitted JEFFREY DAMPF to resign following the allegations of, “We received an information request from FINRA indicating that Dampf may have been charged with felonies relating to taking money from the elderly. We had no such information and were unable to locate any publicly available information to confirm or refute the alleged charges.”
According to FINRA, Dampf allegedly refused to provide on-the-record testimony or to produce the documents and information requested related to these allegations leading to his being barred from the industry.
JEFFREY DAMPF was previously registered both as a broker and as an investment adviser.
