Leonard Rich In Joseph Gunnar Client Dispute About Alleged Excessive Trading

Investors might have sustained losses because of securities broker Leonard Neil Rich [CRD: 375427, Uniondale, New York], according to disclosures on FINRA BrokerCheck. It appears that Leonard Rich has been registered with Joseph Gunnar Co. LLC since February 24, 2003. LLC to pay the client $49,433.26 in damages.

Specifically, a client of Joseph Gunnar Co. LLC contested Leonard Rich’s sales practices by filing FINRA Arbitration No. 12-03884. Allegedly, Rich engaged in excessive trading, unsuitable trading, and unauthorized trading. Supposedly Rich caused the client to sustain damages on over-the-counter equities, stocks, and options. Consequently, Joseph Gunnar Co. LLC opted to settle the matter on June 13, 2014, by compensating the client in the amount of $350,000.

Also, a client filed a complaint about Leonard Rich. The client alleged that Rich recommended investments which poorly performed. Because of this, the client allegedly sustained damages on over-the-counter equities. As a result, on October 23, 2009, Joseph Gunnar Co. LLC settled this matter by paying the client $19,500 in damages.

Leonard Rich Disclosed Churning Allegations By Client

Particularly, a client of a former securities broker dealer contested Leonard Rich’s sales practices by filing NASD Arbitration No. 96-03637. Allegedly, a broker churned accounts, made unsuitable recommendations, engaged in unauthorized trading, and failed to supervise certain representatives. This matter settled for $14,000 in damages.
