FINRA sanctioned securities broker Matthew James Chimento [CRD: 5749914, Alpharetta, Georgia], based on the disclosures on Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) BrokerCheck. Evidently, Matthew Chimento worked for Morgan Stanley from March 13, 2023, to December 11, 2023, and for E*TRADE Securities LLC from March 1, 2018, to September 5, 2023, both in Alpharetta, Georgia. Regulatory Bar Against Chimento For Alleged Misconduct

Specifically, on March 19, 2024, FINRA sanctioned Matthew Chimento. Notably, FINRA alleged that Chimento failed to provide documents and information requested by FINRA in its investigation into the allegations made in a Form U5 filed by his employer. The form stated that he had resigned voluntarily from MSWM while under internal review for allegedly transferring funds out of an investor's account into an account for his benefit without investor authorization.

The regulatory action taken against Matthew Chimento concluded with an Acceptance, Waiver Consent (AWC). The sanction imposed was a permanent bar, affecting all registration capacities indefinitely, starting from March 19, 2024.

Employment Separation Of Matthew Chimento Due To Allegations

Evidently, MSWM disaffiliated with Chimento on November 20, 2023. According to the firm, Chimento allegedly transferred funds out of an investor's account into an account for his benefit without investor authorization.
