Ernesto Chavez (CRD: 4315877) faces a new pending claim on BrokerCheck over an investment made in 2018. The customer alleges $180,000 in damages, and no arbitrator has ruled on the claim.

Milka Micic (CRD: 4929945) and JP Morgan deny a pending FINRA arbitration that alleges $10,000,000 in damages, according to BrokerCheck. The customer alleges a failure to follow instructions on a managed account.
JP Morgan is the firm on the disclosure. BrokerCheck lists her full name as Milka L. Micic.

On April 15, 2026, the customer filed the claim under docket number 26-00777. According to the disclosure, the activity took place from March 2025 to April 2025. So far, the claim remains pending, and no arbitrator has ruled on it.
In a statement on BrokerCheck, JP Morgan and the broker deny the allegations. They say they handled the account appropriately, professionally, and in good faith. In addition, JP Morgan says it intends to vigorously defend the arbitration naming Milka Micic.
In a managed account, the customer and the firm agree on goals and limits. A manager then runs the money within them. Some customers also give standing instructions, for example to keep a holding or hold cash for a planned expense.
When a customer says an instruction went unmet, the paper trail usually matters most. Emails, call notes, trade records and the account agreement all show what the customer asked for and when the firm acted. Because a managed account can trade without a call each time, those records often carry the case. The claim naming Milka Micic turns on that kind of question, and the firm and the broker dispute it.
Most brokerage account agreements send disputes like this one to FINRA arbitration instead of court. Before any hearing, both sides exchange documents, and they can also settle at any point.
If the case reaches a hearing, a panel of arbitrators decides it, and its award is generally final. Until then, BrokerCheck shows only the allegation against Milka Micic and the denial.

This post summarizes public FINRA records, including BrokerCheck, as of October 6, 2026. Allegations in customer complaints and arbitrations are claims, not findings. Pending claims remain open and undecided. A settlement is also not an admission of wrongdoing. FINRA may also update or correct these records after that date.
