GWG bond losses

PETER LEWIS GOFFIN (PETER L GOFFIN), a former broker/financial advisor with Newbridge Securities of Boca Raton, Florida (10/06/2003 - 10/05/2023) currently has three pending “Customer Disputes.” Allegedly, some of these losses are due to recommendations of GWG L Bonds and other alternative investments, some totaling over $500,000 in damages.

Some of the alleged alternative investments recommended by Newbridge Securities, through its financial advisor PETER L GOFFIN, are:
- GWG L Bonds,
- GPB Holdings,
- GPB Automotive,
- Lodging Opportunity REIT,
- Lodging REIT III,
- Shopoff, and
- Sila Realty Trust.

According to FINRA’s BrokerCheck, available to the public on FINRA’s website, PETER L GOFFIN, has been in the securities industry for 36 years and has been listed with 5 firms. Goffin has 9 disclosures on his FINRA CRD report.  Of the 9 disclosures, 8 are “Customer Disputes,” 2 disputes were denied, 3 are pending, and 3 were settled.  Goffin denies the allegations. The significance of PETER L GOFFIN’s FINRA Customer Complaints is underscored in FINRA NOTICE to MEMBERS 03-49. FINRA conducted a review of the CRD’s of all registered representatives, only .41% had been the subject of 3 or more customer complaints. In other words Goffin’s customer complaints rank him in the top one-hundredth percent of all registered representatives for customer complaints.
