EcoVest Capital was a large issuer of SCETs. According to records filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and FINRA, RUSSELL S BLUM of INTERNATIONAL ASSETS ADVISORY, LLC, was allegedly one of the brokers/financial advisors eligible to receive commissions for deals that were syndicated by EcoVest Capital.
According to FIRNA’s BrokerCheck, available to the public on FINRA’s website, RUSSELL S BLUM has been in the securities industry for 41 years and has been listed with 9 firms. Blum has 5 disclosures on his FINRA CRD report. Three of the disclosures are “Customer Disputes.” Two disputes have settled and one was denied.
