Notably, on June 22, 2021, an Investors Capital, Spire Securities, and SagePoint Financial client filed FINRA Arbitration #: 21-01585 about Scott Aabel. Specifically, the client alleged unsuitable advice. Because of this, the client allegedly sustained damages relating to purchases or sales of alternative investments. Therefore, the client requested $300,000 in compensation from those firms or Aabel. Evidently, this arbitration is pending a resolution.

Scott Aabel Allegedly Makes Unsuitable Recommendations To Prime Capital Services Client

Moreover, a client of Prime Capital Services contested Scott Aabel's sales practices by filing FINRA Arbitration #: 05-00653 on February 14, 2005. Notably, accusations against the securities broker include unsuitable recommendations. Allegedly, the unregistered securities that Aabel sold or recommended resulted in damages. Therefore, Prime Capital Services opted to settle the matter on April 3, 2006, by compensating the client in the amount of $117,000. Still, the broker denies the allegations against him.

Prime Capital Services Client Accuses Aabel Of Unsuitable Transactions

Evidently, on September 27, 2004, a Prime Capital Services client filed FINRA Arbitration #: 04-06612 about Scott Aabel. Specifically, the client alleged unsuitable transactions resulting in damages. Therefore, on October 6, 2006, Prime Capital Services settled this matter by paying the client $130,000.

Scott Aabel Allegedly Makes Misrepresentations To Prime Capital Services Client

Also, a client of Prime Capital Services contested Scott Aabel's sales practices, according to a complaint dated September 11, 2007. Notably, accusations against the securities broker include misrepresentations. Allegedly, the variable annuities that Aabel sold or recommended resulted in damages. Therefore, the client requested compensatory relief from Prime Capital Services or Aabel in the amount of $13,595.29. However, the firm denied this dispute.
