FINRA Sanctions TJ Fazzone

Stock Broker Barred By FINRA

Soreide Law Group is investigating possible investor claims against securities broker TJ Fazzone (also known as Timothy Jay Fazzone) [CRD: 1610976, Dublin, OH]. Notably, FINRA sanctioned the securities broker, who worked for NYLife Securities LLC, because Fazzone allegedly converted funds. Here is a brief summary of FINRA’s allegations against Fazzone.

FINRA Sanctions Fazzone For Conversion

Notably, on August 2, 2022, FINRA issued Case: 201906469860,1 punishing TJ Fazzone for infractions. Specifically, Fazzone was barred as a securities broker. For this reason, he cannot work as a broker and in other capacities for FINRA-member firms. Mainly, FINRA alleged that Fazzone converted funds from a client’s estate.

TJ Fazzone Disclosed Unsuitable Recommendations Allegations By NYLife Securities LLC Client

Also, a client of NYLife Securities LLC contested TJ Fazzone’s sales practices by filing FINRA Arbitration: 19-03418. Supposedly, Fazzone made unsuitable investment recommendations. It is alleged that Fazzone caused the client to sustain damages on fixed and variable annuities. Consequently, NYLife Securities LLC opted to settle the matter on April 5, 2021, by compensating the client in the amount of $33,500. However, the firm and Fazzone admit no liability in this settlement.
