The Claimant is a retiree living in Colorado. The Claimant brings this action to recover the losses allegedly experienced due to AEGIS CAPITAL CORP and its former financial advisor, TARIQ MUHAMMED SALES (Also known as: TARIQ M SALES, TERRANCE SALES, TARIQ M TERRANCE) CRD#: 2851440.

The Claimant’s relationship began with AEGIS CAPITAL CORP and their former advisor, Tariq “Terrance” Sales, after the Claimant allegedly received a cold call from Sales. The lawsuit alleges that the Respondent and Sales understood that the Claimant did not want to take any unnecessary risks with his savings. The lawsuit states that the Claimant’s investment goals and risk tolerance were minimal risk. The lawsuit alleges that the Respondent and Tariq “Terrence” Sales engaged in an investment strategy which caused the Claimant to lose his irreplaceable retirement savings. Allegedly, the Claimant was also charged high fees and commissions. The lawsuit alleges that the Claimant has suffered damages of $499,999. 

The lawsuit’s allegations against AEGIS CAPITAL CORP include: negligence, breach of fiduciary duty, breach of contract, and violation of FINRA rules.
