Andrew Scheier Accused of Unsuitable Advice at Stifel Nicolaus

Evidently, Scheier has worked for Stifel Nicolaus Company Incorporated as a securities broker since August 21, 2007, and as a financial advisor since November 24, 2021. Stifel Nicolaus Company Investor Accused Scheier of Unsuitable Recommendations

Evidently, on January 2, 2024, a client of Stifel Nicolaus Company made a complaint accusing Andrew Scheier of making unsuitable recommendations and failing to execute a strategy to limit stock losses. The client asked for compensatory damages, but on January 10, 2024, Stifel Nicolaus denied the complaint, and no compensation was awarded.

Unauthorized Trading and Unsuitable Recommendations Complaint About Andrew Scheier Settled

Additionally, on June 30, 2016, a separate client complaint regarding Andrew Scheier was settled for $95,000. The client accused Scheier of unauthorized trading and making unsuitable recommendations. Stifel Nicolaus Company resolved the matter without the broker’s involvement.

Stifel Nicolaus Settled Breach of Fiduciary Duty and Misrepresentation Claims About Scheier

Also, on February 18, 2014, FINRA Arbitration No. 13-00588 was settled for $22,000 after a client alleged that Scheier committed breach of fiduciary duty and negligent misrepresentation while employed at Stifel Nicolaus Company.
