Anthony Brinkmeier Faced Woodmen Financial Services Investor’s Misrepresentation Complaint

Notably, a client of Woodmen Financial Services Inc. disputed Anthony Brinkmeier’s sales practices in connection with an indexed universal life insurance product, according to a written complaint. Allegedly, Brinkmeier made misrepresentations and failed to properly disclose how the product was funded. It appears that Brinkmeier caused the client to experience damages involving variable annuities and life insurance products. Consequently, Woodmen Financial Services Inc. opted to settle the matter on November 14, 2023, by compensating the client in the amount of $31,000, which represented the premiums paid.

Also, a client filed a complaint about Anthony Brinkmeier related to the transfer of funds from a variable annuity to fund an indexed universal life insurance product. Primarily, the client alleged that Brinkmeier made misrepresentations at the time of sale. For this reason, the client allegedly incurred damages associated with variable annuities and life insurance products. Therefore, on June 28, 2023, Woodmen Financial Services Inc. settled this matter by paying the client $46,000 in damages.
