American Capital Partners Clients Indicate That Anthony Vultaggio Sold Bad Private Placements
Evidently, a client of American Capital Partners took aim at Anthony Vultaggio by filing FINRA Arbitration Action #: 20-01042 on April 20, 2020. Supposedly, Vultaggio recommended or sold the client private placement investments. It is possible that these investments were not suitable for the client and that Vultaggio caused the client to experience losses by investing in them. For this reason, the client demanded more than $1,000,000 in compensation in this ongoing matter.
Apparently, a second American Capital Partners client came forward with a dispute about Anthony Vultaggio on May 20, 2019. Evidently, in FINRA Arbitration Action #: 19-02392, the client alleged losses with respect to a private placement. It appears that Vultaggio could have sold or recommended this private placement as a private securities transaction. Evidently, the client demanded $700,000 from Vultaggio or American Capital Partners. This dispute is pending a resolution.
FINRA Expels Vultaggio
Notably, according to a Letter of Acceptance, Waiver and Consent (“AWC”) #: 2017054945301, FINRA barred Anthony Vultaggio as a securities broker on September 11, 2017. Evidently, FINRA suspected that Vultaggio was involved in an undisclosed outside business that involved an offering of securities. Apparently, FINRA asked Vultaggio to testify about this in 2017.
