Soreide Law Group, based in Pompano Beach, Florida, obtained the following information on FINRA’s website under, “Discipline and Other FINRA Actions” January 2020: CLARK MORRIS NOBIL (CRD#: 348552) Miami Beach, Florida, was barred from association with any FINRA member in all capacities on November 19, 2019.
Without admitting or denying FINRA’s findings, CLARK MORRIS NOBIL consented to the sanction and to the entry of findings that he refused to produce documents and information requested by FINRA after FINRA began an examination regarding his appointment as trustee of two trusts to determine whether he had engaged in a business activity that should have been disclosed on his Form U4.
FINRA’s findings stated that although CLARK MORRIS NOBIL provided partial responses to FINRA's requests, he did not substantially comply with FINRA's requests, and the information and documents he failed to provide were material to FINRA's investigation, including specific bank statements and tax returns.
According to FINRA, by refusing to produce information and documents requested pursuant to FINRA Rule 8210, Nobil violated FINRA Rules 8210 and 2010. FINRA has barred CLARK MORRIS NOBIL from acting as a broker or otherwise associating with a broker-dealer firm.
