MWA Investor Accused Wells Of Sales Practice Violation

On March 6, 2026, an MWA Financial Services client filed a complaint alleging that Corey Wells signed another client’s name without authorization. The client further alleged that Wells permitted other individuals to sign his name. The complaint also raised concerns about the disclosure of confidential information, explanations of fees, and Wells’ involvement in obtaining and sending a money order for another client using funds that had been provided to him. The allegations involved variable annuities, mutual funds, and fixed annuities. The client requested compensation; however, MWA Financial Services closed the complaint without action on April 1, 2026.

Corey Wells Discharged For Signature Falsification

Evidently, MWA Financial Services disaffiliated with Wells on April 1, 2026. Allegedly, Wells signed an investor’s name without authorization, according to a client complaint received by the firm.
