DANNY KAY DAVIS (DANNY K DAVIS, DAN DAVIS) is currently registered as a broker since 3/5/2009 and as an investment advisor since 3/27/2009, with STIFEL, NICOLAUS & COMPANY, INCORPORATED located in Omaha, Nebraska.

According to FINRA’s BrokerCheck, available to the public on FINRA's website, DANNY K DAVIS has been in the securities industry for 46 years and has been listed with 6 firms.  Davis has 3 disclosures listed on his FINRA CRD report, all 3 are "Customer Disputes."  One was settled, one was denied, and one is pending.  The significance of Webb’s disclosures is underscored in FINRA NOTICE to MEMBERS 03-49. FINRA conducted a review of the CRD’s of all registered representatives, only .41% had been the subject of 3 or more customer complaints. In other words, DANNY K DAVIS’ customer complaints rank him in the top one-hundredth percent of all registered representatives for customer complaints. 

There is a settled “Customer Dispute” filed against DANNY K DAVIS dated 1/5/1990.  The allegations were, “MISREPRESENTATION AND UNSUITABILITY REGARDING THE PURCHASE OF SEVERAL LIMITED PARTNERSHIPS PURCHASED THROUGH HUTTON. DANNY DAVIS WAS THE ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE. ALLEGED DAMAGES $2.5 MILLION.”  The damage amount requested was $2,500,000.00, and the actual settlement amount was $1,030,000.00.  The Broker Comment on this dispute says, “SHEARSON LEHMAN BROTHERS PAID THE CLAIMANTS $1,030.000. IN RETURN, CLAIMANTS GAVE BACK TO SHEARSON TWO INVESTMENTS WITH FACE VALUES OF $500,000 AND $35,000 RESPECTFULLY. CLAIMANT WAS ADVISED BY HER ATTORNEY AND HER ACCOUNTANT WHO ATTENDED THE MEETINGS WHEN INVESTMENT DECISIONS WERE MADE. UNFORTUNATELY SOME OF THE INVESTMENTS DID NOT PERFORM AS ANTICIPATED DUE TO UNFORSEEN MARKET CONDITIONS.”

The pending “Customer Dispute” filed against DANNY K DAVIS is dated 4/22/2025.  The allegations are, “Customer alleges unauthorized trading that resulted in significant losses and excessive commissions.” The damage amount requested is $1,031,605.00.
