Broker David Turetzky Is Involved In Morgan Stanley, Ameriprise Investor Disputes

The Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) reports that 5 investors filed disputes about securities broker David Charles Turetzky (CRD#: 2954337, Saddle Brook, New Jersey). Namely, these disputes contain allegations of sales practice violations that caused damages to investors. Here’s more.

Ameriprise Financial Services Client Alleges Sales Practice Violations By David Turetzky

Evidently, in a December 2020 FINRA Arbitration Claim, a client of Ameriprise Financial Services alleges that David Turetzky harassed her into switching her accounts. Supposedly, Turetzky caused the client to move from a commission account to a fee account. It appears that this caused damages to the client. For this reason, they demanded $500,000 to resolve this ongoing matter.

Client Alleges Morgan Stanley Failed To Supervise

Also, a client of Morgan Stanley took aim at David Turetzky through a FINRA Arbitration Claim in July 2020. Specifically, the client alleged mismanagement of their investment accounts. Supposedly, the securities firm did not supervise the broker’s actions. Because of this, the client seeks compensation in this pending lawsuit.

David Turetzky Supposedly Fails To Properly Manage Client’s Account

Notably, a client of Morgan Stanley Smith Barney disputed David Turetzky’s actions. Namely, the client alleged failure to supervise their account. It appears that unsupervised management of the client’s account led to losses or damages. Evidently, this matter awaits a resolution.

Client Compensated After Bringing Claim About Account Mismanagement

Notably, a client of Morgan Stanley brought a FINRA Arbitration Claim in August 2018 in part to contest David Turetzky’s management of their account. Specifically, the case summary shows that the client alleged misrepresentation, breach of contract, negligence, breach of fiduciary duty, securities laws violations, and violations of FINRA rules. It seems that the client obtained a $1,200,000 payment from Morgan Stanley to settle this matter In November 2018.
