Edward Jones Investor Accused EJ Okuma Of Conversion

Evidently, on June 4, 2025, an Edward Jones client filed FINRA Arbitration No. 25-01126 concerning Ejiro Okuma. Mainly, the client alleged that Okuma converted funds after taking control of the client’s accounts in order to enrich himself and a family member. Because of this, the client allegedly sustained damages. As a result, the client requested up to $9,143,000 in compensation from Edward Jones or Okuma. It appears that this arbitration is pending a resolution.

Ejiro Okuma Terminated For Misappropriation Allegations

Also, Equitable Advisors LLC disaffiliated with Okuma on June 16, 2025. Allegedly, Okuma resigned after the firm suspended him due to allegations of misappropriation involving a non-Equitable Advisors client.
