It appears that Young worked for Voya Financial Advisors (2012 to 2017), and JP Turner Company (2010 to 2012). Specifically, a Voya Financial Advisors client expressed concerns about Gregory Young’s sales practices, as BrokerCheck shows that the client lodged an investment dispute on February 28, 2018. Mainly, the securities broker faces accusations of misrepresentation (during the time leading up to the purchase of the investment). Notably, Young allegedly caused the client to experience damages as a result of his actions relating to corporate bonds and CDs. It appears that the client received $35,000 in damages from the securities firm in the settlement of the investment dispute in October 2018.

Young Supposedly Sells Inappropriate CDs To JP Turner Company Client

Evidently, a client of JP Turner Company contested Gregory Young’s sales practices by bringing an investment dispute on July 25, 2017. Supposedly, Young caused the client to incur damages relating to the client’s investments in CDs. The client’s allegations against the securities firm or broker include misrepresentation. Because of the alleged inappropriate sales practices, the client seeks compensatory relief to settle this matter with the securities firm.

The securities firm terminated Gregory Young’s employment on October 10, 2017. In particular, the securities firm alleges that the securities broker failed to disclose an arbitration where he was named as a party.
