Morgan Stanley Clients Allege Damages In Disputes About Broker Jesus Rodriguez

The Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) provides important information in regard to securities broker Jesus Rodriguez “Jesus Rodriquez” (CRD#: 4888685, El Paso, Texas). Evidently, Rodriguez worked for securities firm Morgan Stanley from 2009 to 2021. Notably, he faces allegations of unsuitable and unauthorized trading as reported on BrokerCheck. However, the broker denies committing any unreasonable sales practices.

Evidently, a Morgan Stanley client decided to lodge a dispute about Jesus Rodriguez’s and the securities firm’s sales practices on February 18, 2022. Notably, sales practice violations allegedly include unauthorized activity in a legacy Express Credit Line between 2018 to 2020. Notably, Rodriguez purportedly caused the client damages. Evidently, Morgan Stanley agreed to settle with the client, without admitting liability, by paying $508,447 in damages to the client per a settlement on February 17, 2022.

Also, a Morgan Stanley client decided to lodge a dispute about Jesus Rodriguez’s and the securities firm’s sales practices on January 26, 2022. Notably, the investor’s causes of action against the securities firm include the misappropriation of funds between 2014 and 2020. It appears that the securities firm or Rodriguez caused the client to incur damages. Evidently, the client accepted $334,326 in damages from the securities firm, according to a settlement between the firm and the client on January 26, 2022.

Morgan Stanley Client Alleges Unauthorized Movement From Cash Management Account

Further, it appears that a Morgan Stanley client took issue with Jesus Rodriguez’s activities, per an investment dispute dated January 24, 2022. Supposedly, the securities broker committed a form of misappropriation (2019 to 2021), according to the claim. For this reason, the client demands compensation to resolve this ongoing investment dispute with the securities firm.

FINRA Bars Jesus Rodriguez For Refusing To Provide Information In Investigation

Moreover, FINRA barred Jesus Rodriguez as a securities broker effective November 29, 2021. The regulator generally expels a securities broker who fails to comply during an investigation. FINRA contends that the securities broker violated Rule 8210 because of withholding information in the investigation.
