John Hibshman Involved In Lincoln Financial Advisors Investor’s Unsuitable Advice Dispute

Investors have reportedly disputed the sales practices of securities broker John S. Hibshman [CRD: 2193302, Orange Village, Ohio], based on disclosures on Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) BrokerCheck. Hibshman has worked with Osaic Wealth Inc. since January 24, 2025, and previously worked with Osaic FA Inc. as a financial advisor from January 1, 2000, to January 24, 2025, and as a securities broker from February 12, 1999, to January 24, 2025. Notably, on February 14, 2024, a Lincoln Financial Advisors Corporation client filed FINRA Arbitration No. 24-00348 about John Hibshman. Primarily, the client alleged that Hibshman the broker made unsuitable recommendations involving oil and gas investments. For this reason, the client allegedly sustained damages. Consequently, the client requested $100,000 in compensation from Lincoln Financial Advisors Corporation or Hibshman. BrokerCheck shows that this arbitration is ongoing.

Also, on February 14, 2024, a Lincoln Financial Advisors Corporation client filed FINRA Arbitration No. 24-00348 about John Hibshman. Primarily, the client alleged that Hibshman gave unsuitable advice in oil and gas investments. Because of this, the client allegedly incurred damages connected to oil and gas investments. As a result, the client requested $50,000 in compensation from Lincoln Financial Advisors Corporation or Hibshman. BrokerCheck shows that this arbitration is pending a resolution.
