Soreide Law Group is investigating possible investor claims against securities broker Lee Ray Diedrich (CRD: 2636095, Great Falls, Montana). Evidently, FINRA sanctioned the securities broker, who worked for Pruco Securities LLC. Allegedly, Diedrich committed forgery. Here is a brief summary of FINRA’s allegations against Diedrich.
FINRA Suspends Lee Diedrich For Forgery
Evidently, on November 16, 2022, FINRA issued Acceptance, Waiver, and Consent No. 2022074303701 sanctioning Lee Diedrich for infractions. Specifically, Diedrich was suspended for 3 months as a securities broker and fined $5,000. Particularly, FINRA alleged that Diedrich committed forgery.
Without confessing or denying the discoveries, Diedrich agreed to the penalties and accepted FINRA’s findings that he falsified client signatures. The discoveries revealed that Diedrich apparently used electronic signatures of clients on documents for opening accounts and applying for variable annuities. Diedrich also allegedly used his own email address instead of the clients' email address on some account opening documents.
No Client Consent
Notably, FINRA says that Diedrich did not have prior consent or authority from any clients to electronically sign their names on the documents. The findings also indicated that Diedrich submitted the documents to his affiliated company for processing. By submitting documents with forged client signatures and incorrect client email addresses, Diedrich caused the company to create and maintain inaccurate financial records.
