Lee Victor Nordstrom Barred by FINRA

Soreide Law Group obtained the following information on FINRA’s website, under “Disciplinary and Other FINRA Actions,” December, 2021.
Lee Victor Nordstrom (CRD #2248261, Spokane, Washington)
On October 1, 2021, an Acceptance, Waiver and Consent (AWC) was issued in which Lee Victor Nordstrom was barred from association with any FINRA member in all capacities.
Without admitting or denying FINRA’s findings, Lee Victor Nordstrom consented to the sanction and to the entry of findings that he allegedly refused to appear for on-the-record testimony requested by FINRA during the course of an investigation into whether he engaged in potential unsuitable and excessive trading in several client accounts.

According to FINRA’s BrokerCheck, available to the public on FINRA’s website, Lee Victor Nordstrom was in the securities industry for 27 years and was listed with 7 firms.  Nordstrom has 6 Disclosures on his FINRA CRD report.
One of the disclosures is an “Investigation,” dated August 11, 2020, initiated by FINRA. A description of the investigation was stated as follows, “Investigation of unauthorized trades inside of and IRA Account. The trades were placed 4 days after the owner was deceased. The beneficiary - surviving spouse did not authorize the trades.”
There is a “Customer Dispute” dated November 5, 2020, alleging, “excessive trading and over concentration in a two stocks.”  This dispute settled for $20,000.00.
There are two “Employment Separation After Allegations,” on Lee Victor Nordstrom’s CRD report.  One dated April 27, 2020, states that Nordstrom was discharged from Vorpahl Wing Securities following allegations of, “Failure to adhere to Firm suitability policy with respect to quantitative suitability.”
