Soreide Law Group explains investor claims concerning Lickhai Quach [CRD: 2804704, Rockville, Maryland] reported on FINRA BrokerCheck. Evidently, Quach worked for Transamerica Financial Advisors Inc. from January 6, 2012, to March 10, 2023. Notably, FINRA barred the broker, and investors filed disputes alleging sales practice violations. Here’s more on those disclosures.

FINRA Claims Failure To Cooperate In Investigation

On August 7, 2023, FINRA sanctioned Lickhai Quach, imposing a permanent bar as securities broker. The reason cited was Quach's refusal to provide documents and information during an investigation related to his termination from Transamerica Financial Advisors Inc. The firm's Form U5 indicated Quach resigned amid a review for policy violations, notably borrowing funds from a client.

Termination By Transamerica Financial Advisors Inc.

Transamerica Financial Advisors Inc. ended its affiliation with Lickhai Quach on March 10, 2023. The grounds for termination concerned Quach's apparent admission of borrowing funds from a client.

Client Dispute Involving Borrowed Funds

A client lodged a complaint against Lickhai Quach, alleging that he borrowed funds and failed to repay them. This allegation led to a settlement by Transamerica Financial Advisors Inc. on April 5, 2023, where the client received $76,000 in damages.

Misrepresentation Allegation From WMA Securities Inc. Client

Back on December 8, 2004, a client of WMA Securities Inc. accused Lickhai Quach of misrepresenting a variable annuity. The client sought $47,008.04 in compensatory damages from WMA Securities Inc. or Quach, alleging financial harm because of Quach's sales practices.
