The Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) reports important information about securities broker Miche Jean (also known as Miche D. Jean) [CRD: 5918186, Rockville, MD]. Not only has FINRA sanctioned Jean for unauthorized transactions, but investors complained about the securities broker. However, Jean denies the allegations. Maryland Sanctions Jean For Unauthorized ACH Transfer

Evidently, a Maryland regulator issued Case: 2022-0160 on November 15, 2022, sanctioning Miche Jean for infractions. Allegedly, Miche Jean initiated ACH transfers from a client’s account without authorization. Therefore, Miche Jean was barred as a securities broker and financial advisor and ordered to pay a $10,000 fine.

Miche Jean Sanctioned By FINRA For Discretionary Trading

Also, FINRA issued Case: 2020068648601 on September 26, 2022, sanctioning Miche Jean for infractions. Allegedly, Jean engaged in discretionary trading. Therefore, she was issued a 2-month suspension as a securities broker, meaning FINRA disallowed her from maintaining an association with FINRA-member firms. Also, the financial regulator issued her a fine in the amount of $10,000.

Morgan Stanley Investor Accused Jean Of Unauthorized Trading

Additionally, a Morgan Stanley client filed a complaint about Miche Jean. Namely, the client alleged that Jean engaged in unauthorized trading. Because of this, the client allegedly sustained damages on exchange traded funds. Therefore, on March 9, 2021, Morgan Stanley settled this matter by paying the client $35,000 in damages. However, the firm and Jean admit no liability in this settlement.

Miche Jean Discharged By Morgan Stanley Over Possible Unauthorized Discretion

Evidently, Morgan Stanley disaffiliated with Jean on October 16, 2020. Supposedly, Jean engaged in discretionary transactions without having written authorization.

Jean worked for Morgan Stanley in Rockville, MD, as a securities broker from December of 2015 to November of 2020.
