Mirsad Muharemovic Facing Investor Dispute

Bad Broker Advice?

FINRA reports allegations of sales practice violations by securities broker Mirsad Muharemovic (also known as Mirso Muharemovic) [CRD#: 3122589, Staten Island, New York]. Evidently, investors disputed the sales practices of the securities broker. Evidently, these disputes concern when the broker worked for Seaboard Securities and Arive Capital Markets. However, Muharemovic denies the allegations of sales practice violations. Read on to learn more about the allegations against Muharemovic.

Mirsad Muharemovic Allegedly Makes Misrepresentations To Seaboard Securities Client

Evidently, a client of Seaboard Securities contested Mirsad Muharemovic's sales practices. Specifically, the investor filed NASD Arbitration #: 01-02905 on June 1, 2001. Notably, accusations against the securities broker include misrepresentations, excessive trading, negligence, breach of fiduciary duty, and breach of contract. Allegedly, Muharemovic caused the client to sustain damages. Therefore, NASD Arbitrators issued an Award dated September 24, 2002, compelling Muharemovic to compensate the client.

Arive Capital Markets Client Accuses Muharemovic Of Excessive Trading

Additionally, a client of Arive Capital Markets contested Mirsad Muharemovic's sales practices by filing FINRA Arbitration #: 19-02196 on August 13, 2019. Notably, accusations against the securities broker include excessive trading, churning, and unsuitable transactions. Allegedly, Muharemovic caused the client to sustain damages. Therefore, Arive Capital Markets opted to settle the matter on May 21, 2021, by compensating the client in the amount of $115,000.

Mirsad Muharemovic Allegedly Engages In Unsuitable Trading

Also, a client of Arive Capital Markets contested Mirsad Muharemovic's sales practices. Evidently, the investor brought FINRA Arbitration #: 18-02443 on July 16, 2018. Notably, accusations against the securities broker include unsuitable trading. Allegedly, the securities broker caused the client to sustain damages. Therefore, Arive Capital Markets opted to settle the matter on October 23, 2020, by compensating the client in the amount of $72,500.
