Soreide Law Group Files FINRA Arbitration Against Boca Raton NEWBRIDGE SECURITIES CORPORATION

Soreide Law Group, based in Pompano Beach, Florida, has filed a FINRA arbitration on behalf of their client (Claimant) against the Boca Raton, Florida firm:
NEWBRIDGE SECURITIES CORPORATION (Respondent)
The Claimant is an 80 year-old woman living in Florida. She is hoping to recover financial losses due to the alleged misconduct of the NEWBRIDGE SECURITIES CORPORATION and their Financial Advisor, JOHN GERARD FORRESTER JR. (JOHN FORRESTER) CRD#: 728188.  John Forrester was not named in the lawsuit.
The Claimant was allegedly solicited to buy a speculative private placement in Hardrock Exploration. The lawsuit alleges that the Claimant was told that the investment was solid and would bring her a steady income. Unfortunately for the Claimant, Hardrock Exploration has gone bankrupt, which caused the Claimant a total loss of nearly $25,000.
Also, the lawsuit alleges NEWBRIDGE SECURITIES' financial advisor, John Forrester solicited additional investments in Salient MLP, Virnetx, TNP Strategy Fund, and CVR Refining to name a few. The Claimant has sustained losses of at least $55,000 during a time when the global markets have enjoyed record returns.
The lawsuit alleges NEWBRIDGE SECURITIES' actions in this case constitute breach of contract, negligence, failure to supervise, breach of fiduciary duty, and violations of FINRA rules. 
According to FINRA’s BrokerCheck, which is available to the public on FINRA’s website, JOHN FORRESTER has 6 Disclosures on his report.  Of the 6 Disclosures, 3 are Customer Disputes, all settled with settlement amounts of:  $108,315.02, $50,000.00 and $30,000.00.  Some of the allegations, among other accusations, were unsuitability, churning and misrepresentation.
Forrester has worked in the securities industry for 37 years and was listed with 11 firms.  He has been registered with the following firm since 1/27/2010:
