oreide Law Group, on behalf of their client (Claimant), has filed a FINRA arbitration against: NYLIFE SECURITIES LLC (Respondent).
The Claimant, who resides in Florida, maintained an investment relationship with the Respondent and their Financial Advisor, Alan New. According to FINRA’s BrokerCheck, Alan New has 15 disclosures on his CRD report. Many of the disclosures allegedly relate to the Woodbridge Ponzi scheme, which according to the lawsuit, Alan New sold to the Claimant while working for NYLIFE SECURITIES. Alan New has been sued by the SEC for his alleged participation. The Claimant has $110,000 in Woodbridge notes that remain unpaid. If the Respondent would have adequately supervised Alan New, the lawsuit alleges, the Claimant never would have lost his savings during record market returns. Alan New is not named in this lawsuit.
The lawsuit alleges the NYLIFE SECURITIES‘ actions in this case caused the Claimant damages of no less than $110,000 and constitute negligence, breach of contract, negligent supervision, breach of fiduciary duty, and violations of FINRA rules.
Alan New was in the securities industry for 16 years and was listed with 3 firms. The most recent listed below:
