FINRA Sanctions Paul Koch

Soreide Law Group is investigating possible investor claims against securities broker Paul Ronald Koch [CRD#: 1777599, Wayzata, Minnesota]. Evidently, FINRA sanctioned the securities broker, who worked for UBS Financial Services. Notably, FINRA's accusations against the securities broker include failure to cooperate in an investigation. FINRA Sanctions UBS Financial Services Securities Broker Paul Koch For Failure To Cooperate

Evidently, on March 16, 2022, FINRA issued Acceptance, Waiver, and Consent (AWC) #: 2019062621801 barring Paul Koch. Notably, FINRA alleged that Koch did not cooperate in a FINRA investigation. Supposedly, this investigation concerned Koch's investment recommendations.

UBS Financial Services Client Accuses Paul Koch Of Negligence

Also, on February 10, 2021, a UBS Financial Services client filed Civil Suit#: 3:19-cv-01129-JMC about Paul Koch. Specifically, the client alleged negligence, breach of fiduciary duty, and conversion. Because of this, the client allegedly sustained damages relating to purchases or sales of outside investments. Evidently, on May 19, 2021, UBS Financial Services settled this matter.

Paul Koch Allegedly Makes Unsuitable Recommendations To UBS Financial Services Client

Moreover, a client of UBS Financial Services contested Paul Koch's sales practices by filing FINRA Arbitration #: 19-01229 on May 8, 2019. Notably, accusations against the securities broker include unsuitable recommendations and misuse of funds provided in outside business ventures. Allegedly, the outside investments that Koch sold or recommended resulted in damages. Therefore, UBS Financial Services opted to settle the matter on December 9, 2020, by compensating the client in the amount of $3,750,000. Still, the broker denies the allegations against him.

Paul Koch Allegedly Makes Misrepresentations To Citigroup Global Markets Client

Furthermore, a client of Citigroup Global Markets contested Paul Koch's sales practices, according to a complaint dated December 21, 2005. Notably, accusations against the securities broker include misrepresentations. Allegedly, Koch caused the client to sustain damages. Therefore, the client requested compensatory relief from Citigroup Global Markets or Koch in this matter. However, the firm denied this dispute on March 31, 2006.
