Former Miami Lakes PFS Investments Broker ARTURO ALEJANDRO NUNEZ Barred by FINRA

The South Florida-based, Soreide Law Group, has obtained the following information from FINRA’s BrokerCheck on former PFS Investments Inc., of Miami Lakes, Florida broker:
ARTURO ALEJANDRO NUNEZ (CRD#: 4701686)
The Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) has barred Arturo Nunez from acting as a broker or otherwise associating with a broker-dealer firm.
Without admitting or denying the findings, Nunez consented to the sanction and to the entry of findings that he allegedly twice appeared for FINRA on-the-record testimony, left before the on-the-record completions, refused to answer certain questions and refused to allow FINRA to ask their remaining questions in connection with its investigation into whether Nunez, among other things, improperly shared commissions.
Also, according to FINRA, on April 21, 2014, FINRA fined Nunez $5,000 and suspended him from association with any FINRA member in any capacity for one month for allegedly signing various documents on behalf of two individuals: a business recruit and one of his PFS clients.
ARTURO ALEJANDRO NUNEZ has 4 Disclosures on his FINRA BrokerCheck report. One of the Disclosures is an “Employment Separation After Allegations” on October 20, 2017, from PFS INVESTMENTS INC. Nunez was discharged from PFS following allegations that, “The firm terminated the representative’s registration based on the termination of all contracts between the representative and the firm and its affiliated companies. Although no specific cause was required for such termination under the governing agreements, the firm notified the representative that in the firm’s opinion there were sales practices issues and other non-securities related issues that provided grounds for termination.”
