The customers alleged that in April of 2020, Depalma "recommended an unsuitable, high-risk, illiquid investment and breached his" duties, according to the disclosure text. Alleged damages totaled $50,000.

The matter settled on August 7, 2025, the findings state. The settlement amount was $27,113.

Richard Depalma February 2024 Customer Dispute Settles For $86,500

According to the disclosure, a customer dispute filed February 13, 2024, under docket number 24-00289, named Centaurus Financial as the firm. The customers alleged that Depalma "recommended and misrepresented an unsuitable, high-risk, speculative investment and breached his" duties. Alleged damages were $150,000.

The dispute settled on July 22, 2025, per BrokerCheck. The settlement amount was $86,500.

Richard Depalma April 2023 Customer Dispute Settles For $50,000

BrokerCheck records a fourth customer dispute against Depalma, filed April 3, 2023, under docket number 23-00740, naming Centaurus Financial. The customers alleged that Depalma "misrepresented and recommended unsuitable, high-risk," investments, according to the disclosure text.

The matter settled on February 14, 2024, per the report. The settlement amount was $50,000.
