Securities Broker Rodrigue Lors Purportedly Sold Bad Private Placements

The Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) reports troubling allegations concerning securities broker Rodrigue Lors (CRD#: 4379214, Westbury, New York). Specifically, the securities broker is involved in at least 5 disputes. Those disputes allege sales practice violations including Lors’ unsuitable trading. Here’s more on the disclosures which raise concerns about Lors as a broker.

National Securities Corp Client Alleges Unsuitability in Dispute About Lors

First of all, a client of National Securities Corp brought a FINRA Arbitration Claim about Rodrigue Lors in November 2020. Specifically, the client alleged that Lors sold or recommended unsuitable private placements and stocks. It seems that the client experienced losses or other damages because of the broker. For this reason, the client demanded compensatory relief. This matter is awaiting a resolution.

Lors Supposedly Invested Client’s Assets In Bad Private Placements

Similar to the first dispute, another National Securities Corp client took legal action in July 2020 over Rodrigue Lors’ private placement advice or sales. Allegedly, Lors overlooked suitability when recommending or selling the client alternative investments. Because of this, the client demanded $100,000 to resolve this ongoing matter.

Wilmington Capital Securities Client Alleges That Rodrigue Lors Made Unauthorized Transactions

Notably, a Wilmington Capital Securities client took action regarding Rodrigue Lors’ equities transactions. First of all, the client alleged that Lors failed to follow instructions. Secondly, the broker supposedly provided unsuitable investment advice to the client concerning stocks. Finally, the broker purportedly made unauthorized trades in the client’s account. It appears that Lors sold the client’s PGEN position which caused the client to face $100,000 in losses. However, this matter was denied.
FINRA BrokerCheck reports two additional investor disputes which allege Rodrigue Lors’ unauthorized trading. However, those disputes have been denied.
