Investors have filed disputes regarding securities broker Scott Neil Hananel (CRD#: 3080827, Melville, New York). First of all, a client of Aegis Capital Corp disputed Scott Hananel’s sales practices. The client brought a FINRA Arbitration Claim in February 2021 to contest the suitability of investments. Supposedly, Hananel made unsuitable recommendations. For this reason, the client demanded compensation from Aegis Capital Corp or Hananel in this ongoing matter.

Hananel Involved In Dispute About Breach Of Fiduciary Duty, Breach Of Contract

Also, a client of Aegis Capital Corp took aim at Scott Hananel through a January 2021 lawsuit. Specifically, the client alleges breach of contract and breach of fiduciary duty. These allegations stem from stock recommendations or trades that Hananel may have made at Aegis Capital Corp. Notably, the client alleged that their broker made unsuitable investment recommendations. Because of this, the client demands compensation. Evidently, this matter is unresolved as of June 2021.

Aegis Client Alleges Scott Hananel Made Unauthorized, Unsuitable Trades

In addition, a client of Aegis Capital Corp brought a dispute about Scott Hananel in December 2020. Notably, the client claimed in this FINRA Arbitration Action that Hananel sold unsuitable investments. Not only that, but Hananel is accused of unauthorized trading. Further, the client alleges that excessive trades or churning. Because of this, the Aegis client seeks $50,000 to $100,000 in compensation to settle this unresolved matter.

Client Of Aegis Alleges Over Concentration, Unauthorized Trading

Evidently, a fourth Aegis client came forward to contest Scott Hananel’s actions as securities broker. Particularly, the client alleged breach of fiduciary duty among other sales practice violations in a FINRA Arbitration Claim. Also, this client makes accusations of unauthorized trading. Moreover, Hananel is accused of causing an over concentration of assets in risky investments. In addition, the client alleges unsuitable actions involving margin. For this reason, Aegis Capital Corp opted to settle this matter through making a $46,500.00 payment to the client.
