Investors might have sustained losses because of securities broker Stephen Edson Bush (also known as Steve Bush) [CRD: 1898917, Weddington, North Carolina], according to disclosures on FINRA BrokerCheck. According to the regulator, Bush has worked for Capital Investment Group Inc. since August 31, 2018, and Capital Investment Advisory Services LLC since September 1, 2018. LPL Financial LLC Investor Accused Bush of Unsuitable Recommendations

Specifically, on March 19, 2024, an LPL Financial LLC client filed FINRA Arbitration No. 24-00611 regarding Stephen Bush. The client alleged that Bush made unsuitable investment recommendations that did not align with the client’s investment objectives and risk tolerance. Because of this, the client allegedly sustained damages related to real estate securities. The client is seeking compensation in an amount exceeding $5,000. Evidently, this arbitration is pending a resolution.

Stephen Bush Disclosed Unsuitable Investment Allegations by LPL Financial LLC Client

Also, a client of LPL Financial LLC contested Stephen Bush’s sales practices, according to a complaint dated November 3, 2022. Allegedly, Bush made unsuitable recommendations.
