Pugh Allegedly Sold Unsuitable Investment To Dawson James Securities Client Causing Financial Damages
Evidently, a client of Dawson James Securities came forward in July 2020 to contest Willard Pugh’s sales of a real estate investment trust known as UDF V REIT. It appears that UDF was not a suitable investment for this client and that Pugh possibly concentrated too much of their investment account in that investment. More particularly, the client claimed that Pugh made an improper recommendation about the investments. Further, Dawson James Securities allegedly performed inadequate due diligence on the real estate security transaction. For this reason, the client expects payment of $155,000 to resolve this ongoing FINRA Arbitration Claim.
