Alexis Aldaz Terminated By Edward Jones, Linked To Investor Dispute About Unauthorized Trading

Investors have reportedly disputed the sales practices of securities broker Alexis Leon Aldaz (also known as Alex Aldaz) [CRD: 3058560, Bonita, California], based on publicly available information on Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) BrokerCheck. Evidently, Aldaz worked for Edward Jones from February 28, 2020, to September 24, 2025. Edward Jones Disaffiliated With Alex Aldaz For Alleged Discretionary Trading Policy Violations

Notably, on September 18, 2025, Edward Jones disaffiliated with Aldaz. Mainly, Edward Jones alleged that Aldaz failed to comply with firm procedures and policies, including the firm’s discretionary orders policy. The allegations reportedly involved transactions in mutual funds and exchange-traded funds (ETFs).

Therefore, on August 7, 2025, Edward Jones settled this matter by paying the client $2,351.49 in damages.

Specifically, a client of Edward Jones contested Alexis Aldaz’s sales practices, according to a complaint dated September 21, 2022. Allegedly, Aldaz failed to follow instructions. It appears that Aldaz allegedly caused the client to sustain damages connected to mutual funds. As a result, the client sought compensation from Edward Jones or Aldaz in the amount of $19,107.44 in this matter.
