Brandon Hanna Disclosed Oppenheimer Client Disputes

Soreide Law Group is currently investigating potential claims on behalf of investors who may have sustained financial losses due to the actions of Brandon Boyd Hanna [CRD#: 3225573]. Evidently, Hanna is a securities broker and financial advisor based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and his registration history includes affiliations with Pruco Securities LLC [since February 8, 2018] and Prudential Financial Planning Services [since January 23, 2019]. Hanna’s prior registrations include Prudential Client Solutions LLC and Oppenheimer Co. Inc. Notably, Hanna has been the subject of investor allegations, including unsuitable investment recommendations and churning.

Oppenheimer Co. Inc. Investor Accused Hanna Of Unsuitable Investments

Specifically, a client's lawyer lodged a complaint against Brandon Hanna. Evidently, the client's representative contended that Hanna made investments in the client's account that were not suitable. Because of these actions, the client reportedly incurred losses in over-the-counter equity products. Therefore, on June 23, 2017, Oppenheimer Co. Inc. resolved the dispute by compensating the client $85,000 in damages.

Brandon Hanna Disclosed Churning Allegations By Oppenheimer Co. Inc. Client

Also, a client of Oppenheimer Co. Inc. challenged Brandon Hanna’s sales tactics, according to a grievance filed on December 7, 2017. Supposedly, Hanna engaged in practices such as making unsuitable investments in the client's account and churning the account between January 2010 and December 2016. It appears that Hanna's alleged actions resulted in the client experiencing financial harm on investments, including common and preferred stocks, mutual funds, and ETFs. Consequently, the client sought reparation from Oppenheimer Co. Inc. or Hanna. However, this claim was denied by the firm on December 22, 2017.
