Evidently, Bartlett worked for Landolt Securities Inc. from May 14, 2021, to June 6, 2024, and Worden Capital Management LLC from April 7, 2014, to May 18, 2021. Allegedly, Bartlett made unsuitable recommendations in connection with a GWG Holdings Inc. L bond purchase in 2021. It appears that Bartlett caused the client to sustain damages linked to the corporate bonds. Consequently, Landolt Securities Inc. agreed to settle the dispute on February 26, 2024, by paying compensation amounting to $25,000, of which Bartlett personally contributed $12,500.

Worden Capital Management Investor Accused Bartlett Of Sales Practice Violations

Particularly, a Worden Capital Management LLC client filed FINRA Arbitration No. 22-01710 about Burton Bartlett. Evidently, the client claimed that Bartlett gave unsuitable advice in connection with advice involving GWG L bonds. For this reason, on August 31, 2022, Worden Capital Management LLC settled this matter by paying the client $23,599 in damages.

Burton Bartlett Disclosed Misrepresentation And Omissions Allegations By John Thomas Financial Client

Also, a client of John Thomas Financial took aim at Burton Bartlett’s sales practices by filing FINRA Arbitration No. 13-01091. Allegedly, Bartlett made misrepresentations and omitted material facts about funds. As a result, John Thomas Financial opted to settle the matter on January 20, 2015 by compensating the client in the amount of $40,000.
