Caz Craffy Facing Newbridge Client Dispute, SEC Charges

Newbridge Securities Investor Accused Caz Craffy Of Breach Of Fiduciary Duty

On May 9, 2024, a client of Newbridge Securities Corporation brought FINRA Arbitration No. 24-01017, accusing Caz Craffy of breach of fiduciary duty, negligence, and failure to supervise. The client alleged these actions caused damages. Consequently, the client is seeking $100,000 in compensation from Newbridge Securities Corporation. This matter is currently pending a resolution.

United States Securities and Exchange Commission Charged Caz Craffy In Complaint

On July 7, 2023, the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) made a complaint in the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey, alleging that Caz Craffy violated Regulation Best Interest. The SEC accused Craffy of harming Gold Star family members and other clients, engaging in unauthorized trading, and misappropriating funds. The SEC further alleged that Craffy failed to act in his clients’ best interest, causing $1.8M in both realized and unrealized losses. This matter is ongoing, and Craffy denies the allegations.

New Jersey Bureau of Securities Revoked Caz Craffy’s Securities License

On May 22, 2023, the New Jersey Bureau of Securities issued an order revoking Caz Craffy’s registration. The order followed Craffy's expulsion from a self-regulatory organization.

Client Dispute Involving Newbridge Securities Withdrawn

In 2023, a client brought a dispute about Caz Craffy. Namely, the client accused Craffy of negligence, unauthorized transactions, breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, and unjust enrichment during his time at Newbridge Securities Corporation and Monmouth Capital Management LLC. No compensation was awarded as the dispute was withdrawn.
