Christopher Browning Tied To Western International Client’s Misrepresentation Complaint

Investors have reportedly disputed the sales practices of securities broker Christopher John Browning (also known as Chris Browning and Christopher John Brownrigg) [CRD: 4786391, Scottsdale, Arizona], based on public information on Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) BrokerCheck. It appears that Browning worked for Western International Securities from May 12, 2009, to February 5, 2024, and for Western International Securities (investment adviser) from August 14, 2013, to February 5, 2024, before joining Equitable Advisors on January 31, 2024. Western International Securities Investor Accused Chris Browning Of Misrepresentation

Evidently, a Western International Securities client filed FINRA Arbitration No. 24-00718 about Christopher Browning. Mainly, the client alleged that Browning made misrepresentations. For this reason, the client allegedly sustained damages connected to corporate bonds. Therefore, on November 29, 2024, Western International Securities settled this matter by paying the client $74,099.93 in damages.

Christopher Browning Disclosed Unsuitable Advice Allegations By Western International Securities Client

Notably, a client of Western International Securities disputed Christopher Browning’s sales practices by filing FINRA Arbitration No. 22-01493. Allegedly, Browning made unsuitable recommendations. It appears that Browning allegedly caused the investor to sustain damages linked to corporate bonds. Consequently, Western International Securities opted to settle the matter on October 19, 2023, by compensating the client $450,000.

Specifically, a client filed a complaint about Christopher Browning. Primarily, the client alleged that Browning engaged in unauthorized trading. Because of this, the client allegedly incurred damages associated with unit investment trusts and real estate investment trusts. As a result, on January 27, 2022, Western International Securities settled this matter by paying the client $49,698 in damages.
