Notably, a Royal Alliance Associates Inc. client filed NASD Arbitration No. 04-03855 about Earl Newsome. Primarily, the client alleged that Newsome made unsuitable recommendations regarding variable life insurance. Therefore, on April 5, 2005, Royal Alliance Associates Inc. settled this matter by paying the client $92,500 in damages.
